At a minimum, I think an intervention may be in order. The political media have clearly lost its mind. It keeps insisting that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie (R) is angling to run for president in 2012. He's the Republican Savior of the Week. Trust us, the media says, our well-placed sources are impeccable. Besides, why else would Christie be "conducting focus groups in preparation for a possible run?" Also, we're never wrong. Except when they are. CBS News: "Christie categorically denied that he is running during his press conference Wednesday morning." Oh, and there are no Christie focus groups either. Anybody got the number for St. Elizabeth's Hospital?
