Rick Perry doubles down on evolution: "Well, God is how we got here. God may have done it in the blink of the eye or he may have done it over this long period of time, I don't know. But I know how it got started." Somehow, I doubt that the Lord has any problem with humankind figuring out how he did it, evolution-wise. But that's just me. Lawd, have mercy on us ― and kindly steer this cowpoke back to Texas.
