The rich are different from thee and me

TPM: "Mitt Romney plans to raze current current beach manse in La Jolla and replace it with one more than three times larger." The "manse" is worth a cool $12 million. But hey, if you got it, spend it. I don't begrudge Romney's good fortune to have a fortune. He made it the old fashion way: Buying corporations, firing everyone, then selling them at a hefty profit. Still, it must be nice to be fabulously wealthy. I'm just not sure flaunting that fact is a good idea in the middle of a campaign in the middle of a recession. Though it does kinda speak volumes about Mitt's judgment and priorities.
