OMG! Thank GOD Kate is Safe!

Jen Chaney, curator of something called the "Celebritology Blog" for the WaPost, reported that actress Kate Winslet (along with her kids) was "alive and well" after escaping a fire. Winslet was "staycationing" at Richard Branson’s Caribbean home on Necker, the mogul's private isle in the British Virgin Islands. Oh, yeah -- there were 20 other guests staying at the eight-bedroom Great House as well. They're OK, too. But THANK GOD Kate is safe! Chaney ends with a Hollywood flourish: "We’ve all seen Winslet confront disastrous situations on film and frankly, we’d prefer that the Oscar winner’s near brushes with death remain confined to the fictional realm." Yeah, because frankly, really dying is, like, so real. By the way, Jen, the other 20 people who were in harm's way send their love. Curiously, they too like death confined to the "fictional realm." And, please, don't bother to RSVP.
