How to manufacture utter nonsense

I'll keep my promise not waste commentary on the Obama-Boehner speech spat. But the kerfuffle is a classic example of how worrywart liberals manufacture a self-defeating crisis. I give you James Downie: "Boehner is acting less dignified ... But I’m more disappointed with the White House because this spat sums up so well the image problems that Obama has faced since the start of his term. ... If this was an attempt to make Republicans look unreasonable, then, in almost every conceivable way, it failed spectacularly. ... If this is a preview of Obama’s re-election campaign, Democrats should be very worried." So lemme get this straight. Speaker Boehner is acting both foolish and childish (again) but the whole thing is Obama's fault? Ergo, he's probably doomed in 2012? Wow. What an amazing piece of paranoid performance art. Seriously, they should hand out academy awards for this stuff.
