Another GOP debate in a nutshell

Slate's John Dickerson reported that Mitt Romney was polished and won the debate on points. Audience reaction: "Meh." On Rick Perry, GOP strategist Mike Murphy tweeted: "Listening to Perry try to a put a complicated policy sentence together is like watching a chimp play with a locked suitcase." But the audience still liked him best. CNN's Wolf Blitzer to Ron Paul: Who should pay the medical costs of a critically injured but uninsured person? Should we "just let him die?" Per Dickerson: "Yes," came a few calls from the crowd. Frankly, I'm not sure who scares me worst: Perry or the Republican voters in the audience.
