WSJ jumps the shark (again)

Inside the conservative mind is a scary place to be. Consider this buried gem from today's Wall Street Journal editorial: "Americans are already living with the consequences of electing a President who sounded good but had achieved little as a legislator and had no executive experience. Mrs. Bachmann will have to persuade voters she isn't the conservative version of Mr. Obama." Ordinarily I wouldn't dignify this with a response. Put aside the fact that Lincoln too was inexperienced (that line of argument is absurd on its face). But note how the WSJ boys deftly equate Bachmann with Obama as if they're two sides of the same coin. If fact, it's like comparing Gomer Pyle with Eisenhower. "Shazam!" Talk about cognitive dissonance.
