Meep-Meep

CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll: Americans support the budget deal that averted a government shutdown by a 58 to 38 percent margin. A plurality (48%) credit Dems for striking the deal, as compared to congressional Republicans (35%). Most supported President Obama's handling of the negotiations. In the court of public opinion, this also means Obama won the argument over the naysaying lefty blogs (who say the prez got rolled and gave up too much). Kinda reminds me of the Francois De La Rochefoucauld adage: “There are few people who are more often in the wrong than those who cannot endure to be so.”
