Feeding the needy -- left

Team Obama released a video after it was announced that the president would run for reelection. Here's how the New York Times' Charles Blow (an Obama fan) reacted: "There is no grandeur (except a fleeting scene from the last election), no glamour and no glory. Soaring rhetoric is replaced by boring ramblings. (So long Hope and Change. Hello Defense and Duty.) If Team Obama was looking for a message to energize the masses, I’d say that they missed with this one." Okey-dokey. (A) This was a practice kick-off in the pre-game skins vs. shirts session (and nobody is in the stands yet). (B) The video is not designed to "energize the masses." Those crucial playbook strategies come later, esp. when folks start paying attention. But -- boo-hoo! -- why not now? See point A. This so perfectly encapsulates the unrealistic expectations of the needy left: "Did you fix the world yet, daddy?" C'mon, people. Shake it off.
