Phoenix resident R.D. Rose penned this letter to the Arizona Republic: "If I owned a horse, I would grab a bright lantern and ride through north Scottsdale tomorrow night, yelling, 'Sarah Palin is coming! Sarah Palin is coming!'" Clever, eh? The mere thought of the Palin clan moving within 25 minutes of me is scary indeed. What is scarier is the number of folks who attacked Rose for the tongue-in-cheek comment. Read 'em and weep.
