Next time, Mr. President, just quote Churchill

President Obama on Afghanistan last night: "Of course, huge challenges remain. This is the beginning -- but not the end –- of our effort to wind down this war." Though the following Winston Churchill quote has become a cliché, it still better captures what Obama was trying to say: "Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."
