Giving pundits a bad name (if that's possible)

MSNBC Hardball host Chris Matthews (with a straight face): "Will the Weiner hullabaloo follow Dems into 2012?" Wha'? Following Matthews' "logic," Democrats might be so traumatized by the scandal that 16 months from now they could conclude: "Weiner is a disgusting weiner. Ergo, I cannot vote for Obama." Really, Chris?
