noted, Senate Republicans recently blocked the 9/11 Health and Compensation Act, a bill designed to pay health care costs for 9/11 rescue workers. The GOP figured they could get away with such an outrageous move because America will never find out about it. They were right. ABC, CBS and NBC largely blew off the story. So, funnyman Jon Stewart (rightly) picked up the slack and took the GOP to task during a "Daily Show"
segment. Somebody had to. Still, what's wrong with this picture?
