Don't Get It

The vote on “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” just went down in flames in the Senate, 57-40. The measure needed 60 to get past the filibuster. So, how will the media spin it? “The move is a setback to President Obama and the Democratic leadership, who have made repealing the policy a key priority,” reported the New York Times. That’s how. Most of the country and the military support repeal. Why no focus on the dour Puritans in the black top hats, the Republicans, standing tall on the wrong side of history yet again?
