Bob Dole (pre-Watergate 1975): “I believe the second half of the 20th century will be known as the age of [Richard M.] Nixon.” Rudy Giuliani (Today): "[Rupert Murdoch] is a very, honorable, honest man. This [scandal] can't be something that he would have anything to do with." Uh huh. Right. Murdoch's sterling honesty is about as believable as Nixon's was when he declared "I'm not a crook."
