Earth to Palin: Spare Us

Befuddled by the endless “debate” over Sarah Palin’s qualifications to become Leader of the Free World, Jonathan Capeheart of the Washington Post reminds us of an obvious fact:

JUST SO YOU KNOW: A CBS News poll (Oct. 6) indicated that Palin's overall favorable rating is 22%, and only 21% among Independents (the folks crucial to election). A majority of Americans, 64%, thinks she would not make an effective president.
