A couple of days ago, I wondered if the cable news networks could cover the tsunami/nuclear crisis in Japan and war in Libya simultaneously. I guessed, no. I've been monitoring news coverage for hours this morning, flipping back and forth between CNN and MSNBC. It's all Gaddafi all the time. Apparently, Japan has mysteriously fallen off the face of the Earth. The ongoing crisis in that besieged archipelago hasn't been mentioned, not even once. So, the networks go from blanket coverage to zero coverage of Japan -- overnight. All-righty then. As Ace Ventura (Pet Detective) would say: Damn, I hate being right all the time.
