Oh, yeah - Palin. Remember her?

"Call off the coronation — the media’s caught on to the slow motion implosion of Sarah Palin’s popularity, and with it her prospective presidential campaign," writes John Avlon for the Daily Beast. He notes that, per the latest Washington Post/ABC News poll, Palin’s approval ratings among Republicans had declined by double digits since October. It's off the charts for Democrats and Independents. Long-time Republican strategist Ed Rollins told Avlon that even "her books aren’t selling — the last one bombed.” As predicted, Palin is fading into irrelevancy. Though many things contributed to her downfall, I believe history will mark Sept. 13, 2008 as the date that truly sealed her fate. That's the day Tina Fey appeared on SNL to imitate Palin for the first time. The Wasilla Wonder never stood a chance after that. So, does the Lord work in mysterious ways? You bet'cha.
