Still clueless after all these years

During the last presidential election cycle, Mitt Romney provided ample fodder for the op-eds I wrote for the Arizona Republic. Well, he's baaack. Yesterday, Romney gave a "big speech" focusing on jobs. His talk came on the heels of good economic news. The unemployment rate, we learned Friday, dropped below 9%, the lowest level in two years. Some 1.5 million workers secured private sector jobs last year. These are the latest signs of economic recovery that began with the Obama-inspired Recovery Act of 2009. And yet, here's what Mr. Romney had to say: “I like President Obama, but he doesn’t have a clue how jobs are created.” Wow. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose, oui? Mitt Romney, the gift that keeps on giving.
