The noose tightens

I wonder what Gaddafi’s generals are thinking now? This morning, they had a fully-integrated, nationwide anti-aircraft defense system with robust capabilities. This evening, it is a pile of smoking rubble. Oops. In the past hour, the US launched 110 cruise missiles against Libya to clear the way for the coalition no-fly zone. Over 20 targets were taken out, per the Pentagon. The barrage is expected to continue in the coming hours. As the noose tightens around the necks of Gaddafi’s military enablers, Obama hopes they will begin switching sides soon. We’ll see.
