She's not running

People who believe Sarah Palin is running for president are probably the same folks who believed housing prices would defy gravity and never fall again. Palin is Trump with lipstick and a bigger megaphone. She has no professional political staff and no campaign infrastructure for the GOP primaries, let alone for the general election. Big-bucks fundraisers have seen neither hide nor hair of her. Not one. Oh, and she's afraid of the mainstream press because they might quiz her on, you know, the serious issues facing America. Contrary to popular belief, one simply does not wake up one fine summer morning, yawn, and then decide to run for president. Sorry, it doesn't work that way. Building a presidential campaign is kinda like gravity: There's no avoiding it. Bryon York put it succinctly: "While the press looks at the former Alaska governor's publicity operation, political pros look at her campaign operation, or, more accurately, her lack of a campaign operation."
