Today in Tucson, Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was taken off a
ventilator (she is breathing on her own now). The Safeway where she was shot last Saturday reopened to shoppers. Simultaneously, thousands
packed a gun show at the local fairgrounds. Both the Glock and the extended ammo clip (the types used by alleged killer Jared Loughner) were on sale -- a Blue Light Special, if you will. Is it just me, or there something seriously wrong with this picture?
