Satchel Paige: "Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching." Paige was one of the all-time greats in the National Negro League, formed this day in 1920. He was the first player from the league to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1971.
