Knowingly Rummy

Dame Maureen Dowd drives me nuts with her often simplistic views about, well, everything. But damn this lady can write. When Ms. Dowd gets into “the zone,” she can spin out the pearly prose like nobody's business. Here's her humorous (but biting) take on the new book by President George W. Bush's secretary of Defense: "So many to blame. So little space. Donald Rumsfeld has only 815 pages — including a scintillating List of Acronyms — to explain why he was not responsible when Stuff Happened. His memoir, “Known and Unknown,” is like a living, breathing version of the man himself: very thorough, highly analytical and totally absent any credible self-criticism." Ouch. But well deserved. Read MoDo's column here.
