Most Useless Poll of the Day
In the wake of the historic repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell,” the Washington Post asked its readers, “Would repeal affect troop morale?” Now unless you’re a member of the armed forces or work closely with one of its branches, how could a Post reader possibly answer the question with any credibility? They cannot. So why ask? Answer: Page views. For what it's worth, 44% said it would improve morale. We'll learn the real answer to the morale question when the Pentagon polls the only folks who can provide it: the troops.
