THE other day, I noticed the
Washington Post’s special website section on the war in Afghanistan. It’s labeled: “Obama's War: Combating Extremism in Afghanistan & Pakistan.” George W. Bush started it. Bush thoroughly screwed it up when he decamped us to Iraq. And Bush dropped the mess in Obama’s lap when he bade us adieu and decamped back to Texas. But it is Obama’s War. The mind reels.
