Did you know ...?

I thought that by now, everyone and their sister in America owned an Apple or Android smartphone but moi. Man, was I wrong. According to comScore, the outfit that tracks this stuff, only a third of cell phone owners (about 234 million Americans) own a smartphone. Who knew? I had been waiting for the iPhone 5 before taking the plunge, but Apple's new 4S version, unveiled today, will have to do. I'll be queuing up with the multitudes to buy one soon. So, move one more American to the smartphone column.
